DESIGN ENGINEERING INTERN

The intern will create 3D models and 2D production drawings using Inventor while coordinating with engineers and production teams. They will also assist in managing design projects and ensuring accurate documentation for custom manufacturing orders.
Responsibilities
- Completing production or design projects while coordinating with supervisors and other departments
- Creating 3D models using Inventor from specs provided by engineers
- Building 2D drawings with proper dimensions and annotations for production
- Working closely with other design, production, and application engineers, as well as engineering managers
- Moving flexibly from project to project as business needs dictate
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program
- Ability to work 20+ hours per week
- Good student mentality and positive attitude
- Proficient with 3D modeling, AutoCAD, and common drafting practices
- Experience with developing manufacturing standard documents and production drawings/documents
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate technical requirements, meet deadlines, and detail-oriented
