Senior/Staff UX Researcher
N8n Remote (đŠđŞ Germany)
You will establish and lead the research function by building scalable infrastructure and defining the research roadmap. You will also mentor cross-functional teams and translate user insights into actionable product recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Establish n8n's research function and lead strategic work
- Build scalable recruitment systems, conduct high-impact research, spread research insights across the organization
- Define and own the research roadmap in collaboration with product and design leads
- Surface patterns and turn them into prioritized actionable recommendations that guide product direction
- Shape how n8n does research: building templates, playbooks, and methodologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams to run their own studies, evangelize research across the company
- Champion the voice of the user in every decision
- Use AI and n8n as tools to amplify research impact
Requirements
- n8n power user
- Research expertise: 5-7 years in UX research with strong mixed-methods skills
- Experience with foundational research like personas, jobs-to-be-done, and segmentation
- Curious about complex systems and technical workflows
- Comfortable working independently and partnering with data teams
- ResearchOps builder: Experience building research infrastructure
- Strategic mindset: Scope needs, build roadmaps, connect research to business outcomes
- Mentor & coach: Elevate others' research capabilities with pragmatism and high standards
- Communication & influence: Translate findings into narratives that influence teams and leadership alike
- AI-savvy researcher: Hands-on AI experience across the research lifecycle with a strong ethical perspective
- Privacy & compliance: Understanding of GDPR and research ethics with hands-on compliance experience
