The UI Designer will create intuitive, high-fidelity prototypes and dashboards while maintaining design system consistency. They will collaborate with engineers to translate complex data requirements into logical, user-centric interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Application and dashboard design: Create visually engaging web layouts, focusing on hierarchy, data visualization, and user workflows
- Interactive prototyping: Build high-fidelity Figma prototypes demonstrating complex user flows and interactive dashboard elements
- Data visualization: Design clean, effective charts prioritizing KPIs and preventing cognitive overload
- Interaction design: Define responsive and predictable user interactions for components like modals, tables, and nested navigation
- Design system maintenance: Assist in maintaining component libraries for application and dashboard consistency
- UX copywriting: Write clear microcopy (tooltips, errors, labels) for complex data navigation
Requirements
- 2+ years of user interface design experience
- Expertise in Figma, including auto layout, variables, slots, and components and Figma rapid prototyping
- High proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of HTML/CSS constraints for development
- Knowledge of standards following web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Google Workspace apps, including Google Slides and Google Docs
- Applicant must include a portfolio
