You will design intuitive user experiences for Google Maps by translating complex real-time data into simple, glanceable interfaces for navigation. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create mockups, prototypes, and design solutions that improve turn-by-turn navigation and user journey clarity.
Responsibilities
- Identify critical user journeys and design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that help achieve business objectives for visual guidance and disruptions
- Create a range of design concepts (e.g., mock-ups, prototypes, models) to express ideas for user research/testing in collaboration with UX researchers
- Improve designs based on UX testing, engineering feasibility, and collaboration across partner/stakeholder/UX leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design
- Experience integrating and using AI in design workflows
