Conduct and lead primary research to identify user needs and business opportunities that guide product strategy and improvements. Influence cross-functional partners by communicating research insights and driving user-centric solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and lead research to identify user needs and business opportunities
- Drive user-centric thinking to influence partners and collaboratively solve constraints in strategy, product, or technology
- Build consensus and influence the team to gain support for research-based, user-centric solutions
- Communicate research insights and recommendations to partners
- Identify, create, and use key insights and metrics to evaluate product, service, and ecosystem impact
- Contribute to developing project priorities in alignment with larger project goals
- Coordinate allocation of resources within the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in an applied research setting
- Experience with research methods (e.g., usability, studies, contextual inquires, 1:1 interviews, unmoderated research studies)
- Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field (preferred)
- 5 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (preferred)
- 3 years of experience managing projects and working in a large, cross-functional organization (preferred)
