Mechanical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

The engineer will design and manage mechanical systems for data centers, taking projects from concept through construction and commissioning. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet safety, quality, and budgetary standards.
Responsibilities
- Design resilient, cost-effective mechanical distribution systems for data centers
- Work with internal teams to understand user requirements
- Create designs that meet quality and budgetary requirements
- Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to specify mechanical equipment
- Review and approve equipment submittals
- Define project scopes and provide technical support for information requests during construction phases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in design engineering or the construction industry
- 4+ years’ experience using Revit for producing Mechanical & Plumbing engineering BIM models and construction drawings
- Experience applying local codes, International Code Council (ICC) requirements, and other Mechanical industry standards
