Product Designer / UI Artist

The Product Designer/UI Artist will conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and lead service design activities to modernize DoD digital systems. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and product managers to define product vision and ensure solutions meet validated user needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews, define personas, and perform usability testing to validate assumptions
- Lead service design activities including journey mapping, workflow analysis, and future-state design
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI/UX visual designs
- Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicting inputs, and identify true user needs
Requirements
- Ten (10) years with Masterās or 14 years with Bachelorās degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs
- Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting
- Notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting
