Design intuitive user experiences and interfaces for warehouse operational systems, including web applications and handheld PDA devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business processes into efficient, task-driven digital workflows.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for user-centered design solutions across warehouse operations and digital platforms
- Design user experiences and interfaces for web applications and PDA/handheld devices used in warehouse operations
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that can be implemented directly by engineering teams
- Design task-driven workflows for warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, loading inspection, and inventory handling
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand operator workflows and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing
- Strong experience designing desktop, web, and mobile applications
- Experience designing workflow heavy or enterprise systems
- Strong visual and interaction design skills
- Experience building or contributing to design systems that scale across platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
