Responsibilities
- Lead strategic design initiatives for our global sortation and transportation network
- Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver cost-effective innovations under tight deadlines
- Guide large-scale engineering projects from conception to completion
- Communicate effectively, presenting strategic visions, detailed implementation roadmaps, and technical solutions to senior executives
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, managing multiple concurrent projects and providing technical leadership on large-scale projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
- Experience with design & innovation and research & development
- Experience in management of engineering design projects
- Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
- Experience with design innovation, R&D, and complex automated systems including robotics, material handling equipment, and high-speed manufacturing
