UI/UX Designer

The UI/UX Designer will gather user requirements, design graphic elements, and build navigation components to transform software capabilities into easy-to-use applications for end-users. Responsibilities include developing UI mockups and prototypes that illustrate functionality and appearance, and preparing drafts for internal teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Building page navigation buttons and search fields
- Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Requirements
- Minimum one year of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role or relevant course work
- Current portfolio of design projects for web/mobile applications
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Balsamiq, Wireframe.cc, InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe xD, Photoshop)
- Good time-management skills
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
