Product Designer
Kitman Labs Remote (🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom)
The Product Designer will contribute across the entire design process, from discovery through final UI delivery, creating necessary artifacts like user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to solve complex workflow and usability challenges. They will also actively participate in discovery work, conduct user research, and translate feedback into practical design improvements.
Responsibilities
- Contribute across the design process, from discovery through to final UI and iteration
- Create user flows, wireframes, high fidelity designs, and prototypes for complex product and workflow challenges
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape solutions that are useful, usable, and feasible
- Help ensure shipped experiences meet a high bar for clarity, consistency, and quality
- Participate in discovery work to help define problems, evaluate opportunities, and test solution options
- Conduct and support user research, workflow analysis, and usability testing
- Translate feedback and product signals into practical design improvements
- Collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design, contributing to critiques and day to day product decisions
Requirements
- 7+ years in a software product design role
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent online portfolio showcasing thinking, UX, UI, and visual design
- Experience working closely with development teams to build web products
- Prior experience in the sports industry is ideal
- End to end experience from initial research through to design of user journeys
- Experience in sport, performance, healthcare, or similarly high consequence domains is advantageous
