Senior Product Designer

The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and implementing user-centric digital banking products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives while monitoring post-launch impact via CX metrics. Key duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing prototypes, iterating designs based on feedback, and conducting user research to inform design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualisation, design, and implementation of user-centric digital banking products and experiences
- Monitoring impact of design post-launch through relevant CX metrics
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business analysts, to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences
- Efficiently communicate design rationale and advocate for user-centered design principles
- Advocate and champion Design Principles within the organisation
- Development of interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualise design concepts and validate solutions
- Iteration of designs based on feedback, incorporating changing technical and business requirements and user feedback
- Evaluation of the technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks associated with the development and launch of the new product
- Securing governance oversite and providing design assurance
- User research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights into user behaviour, preferences, and pain points
- Utilise findings to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience and translate these into commercial and customer outcomes
Requirements
- Previous experience in a product design role
- Ability to design digital products and services end-to-end
- Experienced in facilitating and leading workshops and design sprints
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, or similar for both design and prototyping
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to use clear storytelling to provide recommendations, influence decision-making, and build effective relationships
- Ability to interpret and work with customer and commercial data
- Experience working in an agile environment, within multi-disciplinary teams
