UX Designer I

The UX Designer I supports projects under senior guidance, suggesting new design patterns while primarily working within existing frameworks. Responsibilities include iterating on user experience concepts using tools like wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring UX implementation aligns with designs through close collaboration with developers.
Responsibilities
- Keep up to date on news/incidents and understand what is happening in the market and with competitors
- Contribute to discussions about the future of the product or organisation
- Iterate on defined user experience concepts and components for the product or project
- Work closely with visual designers and web developers to ensure the UX is implemented as designed
- Work with existing design patterns and style guides, occasionally introducing new patterns
- Proactively use data to establish key metrics for projects
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-4 years experience as a UX Designer
- Strong user-centred design understanding
- Familiarity with UX frameworks
- Proficiency in UX concepts using wireframes, prototypes, and process flow diagrams
- Strong personal and interpersonal competencies
- Collaboration skills across disciplines
- Data-informed design approach
