The UI Designer will be responsible for crafting visually compelling, consistent, and user-friendly interfaces across Android and iOS mobile products. This includes designing visual interfaces, maintaining a consistent visual language, creating necessary design assets, and contributing to the design system.

Responsibilities

  • Design clear, attractive, and user-friendly visual interfaces for mobile experiences
  • Implement and maintain a consistent visual language across products, ensuring design quality and coherence
  • Create UI components, mock-ups, layouts, high-fidelity screens, design documentation, specifications, and UI assets (icons, imagery, animations)
  • Contribute to our design system, supporting the evolution of UI components and visual foundations
  • Work closely with UX designers to translate interaction flows into refined visual layouts
  • Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners
  • Present work, incorporate feedback, and participate in design reviews
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of UI assets

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications, demonstrated through a strong visual/UI portfolio
  • Proven experience designing for Android and iOS, using components, visual styles, and design tokens effectively
  • Strong visual design skills: typography, layout, color, spacing, hierarchy, and motion principles
  • Proficiency in UI and prototyping tools (Figma essential)
  • Experience working with design systems and scalable UI libraries
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for polished, user-centered visual experiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional product teams
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Passion for automotive or in-vehicle experiences; must have a driver’s license
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UI Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or related fields is a plus
