Design Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)(Onsite)

This intern will support all activities in the Rotating Machinery Design Engineering Group, focusing on engineering activities associated with the design, development, test, qualification, and production support of Components in Power & Controls. Responsibilities include active participation in Component Integrated Product Teams, supporting design and testing activities, and assisting with organizing complex tasks and sustaining activities.

Responsibilities

• Be an active participant in Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) including driving communication, risk management, and project requirements
• Support both design and testing activities
• Assist with organizing and executing several complex tasks
• Support sustaining activities
• Support cost reduction projects
• Support mechanical, structural, and aero-thermal analyses

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
• Hands on mechanical experience
• Prefer Mechanical Engineering major

• Salary range: $37,000 USD - $82,000 USD
