The role involves designing and supporting user-centered experiences within the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, forms, portals, and interfaces. This includes collaborating with product owners and delivery teams to translate requirements into effective ServiceNow designs while adhering to platform constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Design and support user-centered experiences within the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, forms, portals, and interfaces
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, UX researchers, and delivery teams to translate requirements into effective ServiceNow designs
  • Apply UX best practices while working within ServiceNow platform constraints and patterns
  • Create and iterate on design artifacts such as wireframes, flows, and interaction designs aligned to ServiceNow capabilities
  • Partner with technical team members to ensure designs are accurately implemented
  • Participate in client and internal design reviews, incorporating feedback iteratively
  • Support multiple short-term efforts in a fast-paced, consulting environment

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of UX design experience, including hands-on experience designing and building solutions in ServiceNow
  • 3 or more years of demonstrated experience working within enterprise platforms or design systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal public trust clearance
  • Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US
  • US Citizenship Required

Key Skills

Experience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence Ability to balance design quality with platform constraints and delivery timelines Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and platform specialists Clear, concise communication with clients and internal stakeholders Organized, adaptable, and effective in an on-call, project-based work model Experience with UX design principles and methodologies Experience with human-centered design Experience with design thinking Experience with usability testing and user research methods Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with motion graphics, including creating animations, promotional videos, and marketing content using Adobe After Effects
