Graphic Designer / Digital Printer

The role involves collaborating with clients to design and prepare artwork for various commercial and large format printing applications, ensuring all files are visually compelling and print-ready according to specifications. Responsibilities also include setting up and preflighting files, managing project deadlines, maintaining file archives, and operating Ricoh digital printers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to translate concepts into high-quality printed materials
• Design and prepare artwork for commercial print (business cards, brochures, flyers, catalogs, direct mail, etc.) and large format applications (banners, signage, trade show displays and vehicle wraps)
• Set up and preflight files to ensure accuracy, color consistency, and print readiness (bleeds, trims, resolution)
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure proper file organization, archiving, and version control, and ability to pull previous print jobs from archives

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a print-focused design role (commercial and/or large format preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of print production processes, including digital and offset printing
• Experience with prepress workflows and (Fiery) RIP software is a plus
• Knowledge of color management (CMYK, Pantone, ICC profiles)
