Product Designer
Meta Remote (🇺🇸 Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States of America)
Responsibilities include designing digital user interfaces, creating graphics, and defining visual systems for web-based applications, while translating broad concepts into simple and elegant design flows. The role requires partnering with cross-functional teams to iterate on the user experience from conception through launch and maintaining high quality standards through feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms
- Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch
- Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
- Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Requirements
- Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Design, Design Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
- 1 year of work experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation
- 1 year of experience in building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
- 1 year of experience in interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
- 1 year of experience in prototyping
- 1 year of experience in visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
