Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for data center electrical designs, collaborating across disciplines to create construction document sets that meet quality and budgetary requirements. Responsibilities also include defining equipment specifications, approving submittals, and supporting construction through commissioning and turnover.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for data centers
- Collaborate with other disciplines to create a construction document set
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes
- Review and approval of equipment submittals
- Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission-critical facilities
