The Product Designer will lead end-to-end product experience design, encompassing user research, prototyping, and establishing design systems to meet user needs and business objectives. Key duties involve collaborating closely with engineering and product management to deliver functional, intuitive, and scalable digital products.
Responsibilities
- User Research & Discovery: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to identify needs and pain points
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Translate insights into low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- UI & Interaction Design: Deliver pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile interfaces
- Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable design systems that include typography, color palettes, icons, and reusable components
- Accessibility & Usability: Incorporate WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards into all designs
- Collaboration & Handoff: Partner with product managers to define scope and priorities
Requirements
- 2+ years professional product design experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts
- Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility standards
