Staff Product Designer, Knowledge Graph
Gitlab Remote (đ¨đŚ Canada)
The Staff Product Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for cross-cutting platform features and workflows that impact users across the entire product, defining both tactical deliverables and strategic outputs. This involves partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to shape priorities, scope Minimum Viable Concepts (MVCs), and ensure design intent is maintained through development.
Responsibilities
- Lead design on platform experience
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering
- Elevate craft and quality through thoughtful feedback and modeling high standards
- Contribute to the design system
- Mentor and support other designers
- Ground work in research
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead design on complex, ambiguous projects
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work
- Experience mentoring designers and elevating team craft
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools
- Excellent communication skills
