Remote Part-time Entry Level

The part-time graphic designer will report to the art director and is responsible for assisting with the design and production of college and extension print and digital materials. This involves applying best practices in design, typography, and production processes for various media.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with design and production of college and extension print and digital materials
  • Report to the Art Director
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand content and translate data into clear and compelling charts and graphics
  • Create multimedia, immersive storytelling experiences for the blog using video, motion graphics, and interactive data visualizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in print and digital design and production
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough understanding of design and typography best practices
  • Digital and print production processes
  • Social media trends
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, and Figma on macOS
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while consistently meeting deadlines
