UI/UX Product Designer
Avepoint 🇵🇭 Manila, Capital District, Philippines
The Product Designer will be responsible for architecting solutions by translating complex business requirements into logical user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. This role involves iterating designs based on user data, maintaining the global design system, and collaborating closely with Product Managers and developers.
Responsibilities
- Logic-First Design: Translate complex business requirements into logical user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Data-Driven Iteration: Use insights from user research, heatmaps, and analytics to identify friction points and propose design-led solutions
- Design System Governance: Contribute to and maintain the global design system, ensuring every component is reusable, accessible, and scalable
- Proactive Collaboration: Work asynchronously with US-based Product Managers and document design rationale clearly
- Usability Advocacy: Participate in (and eventually lead) usability testing sessions and synthesize feedback into actionable design improvements
- Technical Partnership: Collaborate closely with developers to ensure technically feasible and high-fidelity design implementations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design
- Strong portfolio showcasing process and design solutions
- Mastery of Figma (including advanced prototyping, auto-layout, and components)
- Research literacy and understanding of user-centered design methodologies
- Self-direction and ability to work independently
- Strategic communication and ability to present and defend design decisions
