Executive - Design Engineering

The role involves preparing sample designs and knitting programs, evaluating quality and feasibility with senior staff, and analyzing measurement specifications throughout the development cycle to finalize precise knitting programs. Responsibilities also include developing products, identifying challenges, coordinating with internal customers, and attending meetings to ensure smooth product lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the sample design and knitting programs and evaluate with the senior technical executive whether the customer’s expected quality and feasibility is achieved
- Analyze measurement specifications and behaviors by verifying technical details throughout the development cycle
- Develop the product and identify the challenges & coordinate with internal customers to deliver a bulk feasible product to the operation team
- Attend/ conduct relevant meetings with both external and internal customers whilst, coordinating with the relevant teams/ departments by ensuring the smooth product life cycle
Requirements
- Degree in Textile Engineering/NDT/Engineering/Physical science
- 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience
- Planning & Organizing skills
- Negotiation & Influencing skills
- Analytical skills
