The Senior Digital Product Designer will lead end-to-end digital design processes, integrating user insights and analytics to create innovative, visually refined, and conversion-focused experiences for the Nespresso eCommerce App and beyond. This role involves conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and mentoring junior designers while championing the design system.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital design processes by integrating user insights and quantitative analytics to create innovative solutions and understand user journeys across channels
- Transform concepts into disruptive designs that embody effortless luxury and drive sales growth across 40+ markets
- Conduct thorough research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points; develop wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that enhance usability, accessibility, and engagement
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements and ensure design feasibility, creating cohesive, responsive solutions for a consistent user experience
- Organize qualitative user testing and A/B testing to refine designs; champion the design system for consistency and collaboration among peers
- Keep up with design trends, tools, and technologies, recommending their integration to foster innovation and relevance
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid product designers: Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in areas such as persona development, targeting strategies, and advanced data analysis
- Integrate AI tools into the design process to accelerate discovery, ideation, and prototyping, while defining best practices and guiding teams to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with design system and brand standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital product design
- Strong experience in Native Apps (iOS and Android)
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates strategic impact, leadership in design thinking, and the ability to deliver complex design solutions
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for design within the organization, influencing product strategy and aligning with business goals
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration software platforms, like Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches
