Expert Design Engineering (w/m/d)

The role involves the conception, detailing, and planning of demanding precision mechanical and optomechanical metrology solutions at the system level, ensuring high precision and stability. Responsibilities also include leading internal design projects, conducting complex analyses and simulations, and creating technical documentation for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex precision mechanical and optomechanical measurement technology solutions
• Perform simulations, analyses, and FEM analyses to ensure functionality and performance of systems
• Lead internal construction projects for systems, including resource planning and progress monitoring
• Create and maintain construction documents, requirement specifications, and presentations for technical concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in construction or similar positions
• 1-3 years of experience in leading constructors in sub-projects
• Knowledge of norms, guidelines, and regulations (e.g. DIN, ISO, CE)
