Product Designer - UX/UI & Design Systems (Remote)

The Product Designer will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end experience of digital products by balancing user-centered design with business objectives. Key tasks include conducting user research, creating design artifacts like wireframes and prototypes, and developing/maintaining scalable design systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research including interviews, usability studies, and data analysis
• Create personas, user journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions and product strategy
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems including typography, color palettes, icons, and reusable components
• Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) are incorporated into all designs across devices and platforms
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define scope, priorities, and accurate implementation
• Run A/B tests on UI variations and gather user feedback to validate design improvements
• Deliver pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile interfaces with detailed interaction specifications

Requirements

• 2+ years professional product design experience
• Strong UX/UI portfolio showcasing problem-solving and craftsmanship
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts for web and mobile
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards
• Familiarity with design system creation and maintenance across product teams
• Experience working in Agile environments with product managers and development teams
• Strong communication skills with ability to defend design decisions using data and user insights
