Product Designer - UX/UI & Design Systems (Remote)

The Product Designer will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end digital product experience by balancing user needs with business goals, conducting user research, and creating functional, intuitive designs for web and mobile platforms. Key tasks include developing and maintaining scalable design systems, ensuring accessibility standards, and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers for accurate implementation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research including interviews, usability studies, and data analysis to identify needs and pain points
- Create personas, user journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions and product strategy
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems including typography, color palettes, icons, and reusable components
- Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) are incorporated into all designs across devices and platforms
Requirements
- 2+ years professional product design experience
- Strong UX/UI portfolio showcasing problem-solving and craftsmanship
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for designing and prototyping
