Remote $2,500 - $2,500 Contract Senior
Lead design strategy and direction for a white-label health app ecosystem, ensuring beautiful and functional interfaces. Provide daily direction to the internal design team, research leading apps, and build a robust Figma design system.
Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and direction â audit our existing app, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements using inspiration from top-performing health and consumer apps
- Refine a Figma design system using variables, tokens and components â implement a structured design token hierarchy
- Multi-brand theming (white-label support) â use Figma variables and tokens to support theme variations so that multiple brands can share a common design foundation
- Glassmorphic and advanced UI techniques â demonstrate expertise in glassmorphism visual design style
- Gamification and user engagement â design reward systems, progress bars, checklists and other game-like elements to increase engagement and retention
- Cross-platform design â ensure pixel-perfect, responsive UI for mobile, tablet and desktop are delivered
- Mentor and coach â provide daily guidance to the design team and collaborate with leadership on design reviews
- Research and trend analysis â stay up-to-date with the latest design innovations in health and wellness, mobile interfaces and gamification
Requirements
- Portfolio of world-class apps showing measurable engagement/ROI improvements across mobile, tablet and desktop
- Expert Figma skills â design systems, variables, tokens, components, and experience exporting tokens for engineering
- Proven experience designing gamification systems and advanced UI styles (glassmorphism) with accessibility in mind
- Time-zone requirements â applicants must not be based in the GMT time-zones overlapping India and Pakistan
- Communication â strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of providing concise voice notes or annotated design reviews for the team, in English
