World-Class Senior UXUI Product Designer - Initial Short Term and Room for More

Lead design strategy and direction for a white-label health app ecosystem, ensuring beautiful and functional interfaces. Provide daily direction to the internal design team, build a robust Figma design system, and coach designers to deliver an A-grade user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy and direction – Audit our existing app, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements using inspiration from top-performing health and consumer apps
• Refine a Figma design system using variables, tokens and components
• Multi-brand theming (white-label support)
• Glassmorphic and advanced UI techniques
• Gamification and user engagement
• Cross-platform design
• Mentor and coach — Provide daily guidance to the design team and collaborate with leadership on design reviews
• Research and trend analysis — Stay up-to-date with the latest design innovations in health and wellness, mobile interfaces and gamification
• Collaborate with engineering — Work closely with PMs and developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with our white-label architecture

Requirements

• Portfolio of world-class apps showing measurable engagement/ROI improvements across mobile, tablet and desktop
• Expert Figma skills — design systems, variables, tokens, components, and experience exporting tokens for engineering
• Proven experience designing gamification systems and advanced UI styles (glassmorphism) with accessibility in mind
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with behavioural health, wellness or medical apps is preferred
