Founding Product Designer (UI/UX)

The Product Designer will define the UI/UX for a multi-daily-usage product aimed at influential individuals, reshaping how they plan and manage their lives across lifestyle domains. This role involves owning product design end-to-end, from exploring problems and validating ideas to delivering production-ready designs in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Define Aurora's UI/UX and own product design end-to-end
- Explore problems, propose interaction models, validate ideas, and deliver production-ready designs
- Work closely with engineering and product to define what we build, not just how it looks
- Help set the bar for usability, clarity, and premium craftsmanship in an always-on product
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products, with ownership over shipped consumer experiences
- Experience working in fast-moving startup or zero-to-one environments
- Product Design Expertise: strong end-to-end product design skills across UX, UI, interaction design, and visual polish
- Systems Thinking: experience creating and maintaining design systems, components, and interaction patterns
- User-Centered Design: proven ability to incorporate user feedback, research insights, and data into design decisions
