Product Designer

Responsibilities include designing digital user interfaces, creating graphics, and defining visual systems for web-based applications with a focus on aesthetics and design. The role requires translating broad concepts into simple, elegant design flows and collaborating with cross-functional partners to iterate and provide high-quality design components.

Responsibilities

• Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms
• Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content strategists to iterate and provide high-quality shareable components and patterns to product teams
• Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors
• Work with designers across the company to ensure solutions utilize and help evolve the design system

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design, Digital Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
• 2 years of work experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation
• 2 years of experience in building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
• Interaction design experience, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
• Prototyping experience to demonstrate how a particular pattern will function across different products
• Visual design experience, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
