Graphic Designer

The Graphics Designer will provide comprehensive support to the Design Lead by crafting digital and print materials for various church, school, and departmental needs, including designing assets for services and special events. Responsibilities also involve administrative tasks, coordinating orders, mentoring volunteers, and assisting with physical graphic installations.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging designs for rack flyers, booklets, invite cards, signage, social media assets, and website graphics
• Design sermon series graphics, service slides, and visual assets for regularly scheduled services and special events
• Fulfill graphic requests for various ministries, departments, and the school
• Schedule and mentor volunteers and interns in collaboration with the Design Lead
• Assess and implement new workflows or procedures to improve design efficiency and team organization
• Prepare for and actively participate in creative planning meetings
• Coordinate order pickups with vendors and ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate ministry locations
• Assist the Media Team with the physical installation of large-format graphics

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Ability to write in HTML and CSS for web pages
• Technology knowledge and experience with Apple (Mac), Google Suite
• Strong understanding of printing production processes and file preparation
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to climb, as required, for installations and material handling
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills
