Section Manager - Test Facilities Design Engineering

This role leads the Test Facilities Design Engineering section strategy focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), owning the end-to-end execution of test facilities systems and reducing test time lost to disruptions. Responsibilities also include driving workforce planning, leading and mentoring teams, and fostering continuous improvement to meet SQDC objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Test Facilities Design Engineering section strategy aligned to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
• Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
• Own end-to-end quality, delivery, and execution of test facilities systems
• Collaborate with project/program team on current and future workscope to ensure mission timelines meet short- and long-term business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Technical, Engineering or Project/Program Management position
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager/people leader leading team of engineers/specialists
