Senior Product Designer, Foundations (Hybrid)

The Senior Product Designer will partner with the foundations team to shape critical platform experiences like authentication, billing, and permissions across mobile and web, while also contributing components and documentation to the design system. This role involves end-to-end design ownership for these horizontal surfaces, focusing on transforming utilitarian experiences into polished, trust-building moments.

Responsibilities

• Partner on design system evolution, working alongside the Principal Designer and UX Engineer to contribute components, patterns, and documentation
• Tackle platform experiences end-to-end, designing for critical horizontal surfaces with a strong emphasis on native mobile experiences
• Transform utilitarian platform experiences into moments that reinforce trust and reflect the brand
• Lead with mobile craft, bringing a high bar for interaction design and visual polish on native platforms
• Bridge design and engineering, partnering closely with platform engineers and the UX Engineer to validate decisions and ensure implementation matches intent

Requirements

• 4–7 years designing digital products, with demonstrated strength in visual/interaction design and growing systems thinking
• Exposure to design systems, including building components, using tokens, writing documentation, or collaborating closely with a systems team
• Technical curiosity, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers
• Exceptional craft, with a high level of polish in typography, spacing, hierarchy, and interaction design
• Comfort with range and context-switching, with the ability to maintain quality across different types of problems
