Senior/Staff Product Designer

The role involves owning end-to-end design for meaningful parts of the experience, focusing on moments that build customer confidence in managing company money, such as understanding balances or setting up effective policies. Designers will shape design strategy, partner with data and research to define success, drive feature adoption, and contribute to the design system.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for key surfaces within your team's area
• Shape the design strategy for your area, working from first principles and customer insight
• Partner with data and research to define what success looks like, instrument your work, and close the loop on what you've shipped
• Drive feature adoption through thoughtful introduction patterns
• Use Pleo's design system (Telescope) fluently and contribute patterns back to it when you spot gaps or opportunities

Requirements

• Significant experience designing financial, data-dense, or policy-driven products
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong craft and measurable impact
• Comfort operating in a highly quantitative environment
• Experience working closely with data science, analytics, and research partners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to bring partners along on your design rationale
