The Senior Associate, Design Engineering manages and develops design drawings and technical engineering documents for a portfolio of data centers, supporting commercial opportunities and lifecycle orders. This includes generating technical handover documents, updating floor plans using ACAD and DCIM software, and coordinating capacity needs with relevant teams.
Responsibilities
- Processing, managing, and developing design drawings and documentation for all commercial projects
- Assisting the Platform Engineering team in producing contract drawings for Pre-Sales support
- Providing an assessment on power, cooling, and square meter availability at the Initial Quote phase
- Creating technical designs for customer lifecycle activities and amendments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Significant years of engineering experience in mission-critical environments
- Strong knowledge of Auto-Computer Aided Design (ACAD)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Explorer) and/or equivalent
