The Senior Product Designer will design essential UX workflows and tools for the LiveOps team, focusing on helping developers understand player behavior, manage live economies, and optimize real-time monetization. This involves creating intuitive, scalable experiences for IAP configuration, live tuning, dashboards, and operational workflows while balancing power and usability in data-heavy interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design LiveOps and monetization tools
- Create intuitive and evolving experiences for IAP configuration, live tuning, dashboards, and operational workflows
- Find the right balance between power and usability in data-rich interfaces
- Conduct user research and gather insights
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and internal teams to understand workflows, constraints, and pain points
- Transform research into clear design directions and concrete product results
- Think systemically and design end-to-end experiences across multiple interfaces and services
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to explore solutions and clarify intent
- Test early, iterate often, and rely on data to inform decisions
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and data teams to align priorities, feasibility, and results
- Defend user needs while considering real-world constraints
- Contribute to Unity's design systems, templates, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability
Requirements
- Significant experience in UX or product design, ideally on complex tools, platforms, or data-driven products
- Experience in game development, LiveOps, or monetization systems is a plus
- Ability to design for technical users and complex workflows
- Familiarity with live-service games, IAP, analytics, or operational tools is highly desired
- Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual hierarchy skills
- Ability to transform complex requirements into clear and easy-to-use experiences
- Experience with modern design and prototyping tools
- Knowledge of Unity, game engines, or technical concepts like data models, services, or APIs is an advantage
