Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will lead the design of critical workflows and interfaces for TyrOS, Rune’s logistics command platform, by conducting user research and translating field needs into clean, usable UI patterns. This involves developing detailed specifications, partnering with engineering for high-fidelity implementation, and helping to establish and evolve the product's design system.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of critical workflows and interfaces in TyrOS
- Conduct user research and translate field needs into clean, usable, and responsive UI patterns
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specs for new features across web and edge-based systems
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented with a high level of fidelity and performance
- Help establish and evolve a design system that supports consistency and speed across the product suite
- Advocate for user needs in all phases of development
- Contribute to the product strategy by bringing insight into how user experience shapes mission outcomes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing complex web applications, dashboards, or decision-support tools
- Portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end design thinking
- Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma or similar
- Ability to create and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and engaging directly with technical and operational stakeholders
