UI/UX Designer (part-time 28 hrs/week)

The UI/UX Researcher and Designer will work with the User Experience Team of the BYU Office of Information Technology to impact thousands of students, faculty, and staff daily using leading-edge technology. Responsibilities include applying UI/UX design principles to redesign websites and applications for campus departments based on user testing data.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver cohesive campaign activations across digital, social, print, and video channels
  • Partner with the Creative Director and collaborate with fellow designers, copywriters, content strategists, UX, PMs, and campaign leads
  • Create storyboards, website mapping, journey mapping, etc.
  • Edit and produce video and motion content

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Minimum two years of direct experience in UI/UX design and development
  • Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles and techniques
  • Experience with user testing and usability analysis
