The Product Designer will lead end-to-end digital product experience design, encompassing user research, prototyping, and establishing design systems. This role requires close partnership with engineering and product management to ensure functional, intuitive, and scalable product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to identify needs and pain points
- Create personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions
- Analyze product usage data to inform iterations
- Translate insights into low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes
- Deliver pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile interfaces
- Define interaction patterns, animations, and micro-interactions that enhance usability
- Build and maintain scalable design systems
- Incorporate WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards into all designs
- Partner with product managers to define scope and priorities
- Work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
Requirements
- 2+ years professional product design experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts
- Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility standards
