Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and supporting graphics for promotional, collateral, and digital materials for ASI programs, ensuring consistency with ASI and Cal Poly branding guidelines. This includes preparing graphics for print and digital media, planning print layouts, coordinating production timelines with vendors, and maintaining clear communication with clients regarding project details.
Responsibilities
- Prepare graphics for print and digital marketing materials
- Coordinate photography or video graphics as needed
- Plan and implement print layouts for multi-page publications
- Adhere to established project deadlines and maintain an up-to-date work calendar
- Maintain consistent communication directly with clients to coordinate project details
- Maintain archives of individual project specifications, drafts, and final proofs
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student at Cal Poly with a minimum of 6 units
- Knowledge and experience in creation of original artwork
- Knowledge and experience in the study of typography
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Mac computers
- Ability to be highly organized, work independently, and have good planning skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
