Responsibilities
- Drive Design Systems work that improves how teams design and ship across Playlist, including patterns, workflows, and foundations
- Contribute production-ready specs and guidance that help teams implement consistently (states, interaction details, edge cases, and accessibility requirements)
- Evolve patterns based on real shipping needs, partnering deeply with PMs, EMs, and engineers to make tradeoffs without lowering quality
- Lead design for ProServe initiatives end-to-end, partnering directly with Strategic Accounts and customers to understand goals, constraints, and success criteria
Requirements
- Product design experience, with strength in systems thinking and a track record shipping complex workflows
- Experience building or maintaining a design system (patterns, components, guidance, or foundations)
- Exceptional partner to engineering, comfortable discussing constraints and making tradeoffs without lowering quality
- Strong product thinking and ability to help teams solve the right problems, not just deliver outputs
