Manager, AMER BIM Engineering – Mechanical, Design Engineering

This role involves leading and developing a team of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection BIM design professionals while owning and elevating BIM quality standards and best practices across the organization. The manager will also drive capacity delivery design projects, schedules, and budgets to meet business objectives, embedding LEAN principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection BIM design professionals through targeted recruitment, mentoring, and rigorous performance management
- Own and continuously elevate BIM quality standards, best practices, and templates across the organization, ensuring full compliance with AWS standards
- Drive capacity delivery design projects, schedules, and budgets to meet business objectives, embedding LEAN principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years managing a team of BIM designers and engineers
- Cumulative 10+ years of experience in BIM engineering or the construction industry, related to all aspects of Mechanical, including fire suppression systems, fire alarm and detection systems, fire-resistive construction, and life safety
