Product Designer, Principal Associate Level

The Product Designer will combine deep expertise in product design across interaction, visual, and service design to elevate the design practice and co-create innovative solutions for complex problems. This involves championing the customer through the design process by leveraging critical thinking, data, research insights, and understanding business strategy and technical constraints.
Responsibilities
- Combine craft expertise with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems
- Leverage deep expertise in product design and skills across interaction, visual, and service design to elevate the quality and maturity of the design practice at Capital One
- Champion the customer through the design process, leveraging critical-thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, tech constraints, and feedback
- Understand and apply business and customer strategy, facilitate design process activities with team and partners, negotiating customer needs and business goals for harmonious outcomes
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Product Design role
- At least 3 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- Strong portfolio demonstrating process, results, and impact
