Onsite $60,000 - $80,000 Full-time Mid-level

The Graphic Designer will collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute designs for various projects, shaping how stories and campaigns look and connect with the audience. Key tasks include designing editorial layouts for print materials and creating digital assets for social media, websites, and digital campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Designing editorial layouts and campaign pages for quarterly print magazine and hardcover books
  • Creating digital assets for social media, eDMs, website content, and digital campaigns
  • Collaborating with the Partnerships team to create client-facing creative
  • Preparing artwork for both print and digital channels, adhering to brand and technical guidelines
  • Contributing to a consistent and elevated visual experience across all touchpoints

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a graphic designer in a similar creative role
  • Confidence using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma
  • After Effects & Premiere Pro experience preferred but not essential
  • An exceptional eye for details, layout balance, and visual storytelling
  • Capacity to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities without compromising quality
  • Proactiveness and clarity in creative decision making
  • Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback
  • Passion for design and architecture
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects

The Local Project celebrates extraordinary design across a range of platforms, championing the best from industry leaders and emerging designers alike.
