The UI Designer will be responsible for designing and evolving the visual language, components, and interaction patterns for Sanoma Learning's designs. Key tasks include maintaining reusable components in Figma, owning shared libraries, and ensuring all designs adhere to accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reusable components, patterns, and layouts in Figma
- Own and evolve the shared Figma libraries
- Ensure all components and patterns are accessible by design
- Collaborate with developers to translate design specifications into framework-agnostic Web Components
- Provide clear documentation, guidelines, and usage examples for designers and developers
Requirements
- Expert-level skills in Figma
- Proven experience designing component-based systems
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and ability to design inclusive, accessible UI patterns
