Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will own the entire design process, from discovery and research through final implementation for new and existing features, while also shaping product strategy based on user research and competitive analysis. This role involves building and maintaining the design system, collaborating closely with engineering to ensure quality, and staying ahead of the development sprint cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the full design process — from discovery and research through wireframes, prototypes, and final implementation — for new and existing product features
• Shape product strategy through user research, competitive analysis, and a deep understanding of customers
• Build and steward our design system, ensuring consistency and quality across every touchpoint
• Partner closely with engineering, reviewing shipped work to ensure it meets design standards and advocating for quality at every step
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, veterinary partnerships, and other stakeholders to align design with broader company goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking
• Proven experience running user research and competitive analysis independently
• Confidence to push back, disagree, and realign without it becoming political
• Experience owning or significantly contributing to a design system
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
