Documentation & UX Writer - Contract
Contrast Security Remote (🇺🇸 Pleasanton, California, United States of America)
The writer will be deeply embedded in development environments to shape the user journey by creating clear, structured content that translates technical security concepts into user value. Key duties include auditing and restructuring existing content, providing clear UI copy, and developing reusable technical content within the Paligo CCMS.
Responsibilities
- Information Architecture & Restructuring: auditing and overhauling existing content
- UX Writing & Microcopy: collaborating with design teams to provide clear and concise UI copy
- Structured Authoring in Paligo: developing and managing high-quality technical content
- Hands-on Research & Validation: verifying documentation and UX copy by testing functionality firsthand
- AI-Augmented Workflow: leveraging AI tools for research and maintaining stylistic consistency
Requirements
- Proven experience with Paligo or similar component-based authoring environment
- Deep understanding of Information Architecture
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and security testing methodologies
- High level of comfort navigating Staging and Production environments
- Ability to pull screenshots and technical details from Figma without performing design work
