Web Designer

The Web Designer will collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and develop visual layouts, mockups, and prototypes for functional websites. Core duties include designing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites while staying updated on emerging design trends and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, then develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize website layouts and functionalities
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites using industry-standard design tools and technologies, ensuring consistency in design elements, branding, and user experience across all web pages
- Create responsive designs optimized for desktop, mobile, and tablet devices, implementing best practices in web design, including accessibility standards, SEO optimization, and usability principles
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web design, incorporating UI/UX principles and practices as required to enhance website effectiveness and user engagement
- Work closely with developers and other team members to implement design concepts and ensure technical feasibility
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve website designs
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design approach
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred
- Knowledge in CANVA
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
